Job Summary:              

The Nurse Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Clinical Operations to provide nursing support for practice locations by consulting and advising clinicians on best-practices, implementation of/providing education and training programs, and collaborating on process improvement projects. The Nurse Manager will provide direct oversight and leadership to nursing staff while supporting and maintaining adherence to compliance programs, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Key Responsibilities     

  • irect supervision of work and performance of Infusion RNs, Triage RNs, and LPNs as instructed, including participation in performance evaluations and corrective action plans as needed. 

  • Direct and coordinate daily nursing assignments for both Infusion Registered Nurses, and Licesed Practical Nurses.  

  • Recognize the diverse skill levels of individual staff members & the unique needs of the patient population when developing staffing plans. 

  • Generates and reviews daily clinical reports and distribute to or follow up with appropriate personnel to resolve any issues /deviations.  

  • Work closely with clinic manager/director of clinical operations to ensure efficient office workflows and excellent patient experience. 

  • Assist with clinic problem solving, workflow improvements, and other areas of concern to increase efficiency and quality services. 

  • Provide organized feedback following clinical site visits.  

  • Participate in all regularly scheduled clinical team meetings.  

  • Implement and communicate policies and procedures for various departments in collaboration with the Clinical Director of Operations.  

  • Works collaboratively with clinic staff on programs to improve patient outcomes. Assists in organizing and participating in quality improvement activities. 

  • Maintain and enforce all safety policies and procedures.  

  • Develop and promote teamwork. 

  • Provide additional support for the clinical team, which includes performance of all functions of an Infusion RN, Triage RN, and LPN. Including but not limited to administration of chemotherapy, and non-chemotherapy agents intravenously and/or by injection, and administrative tasks.

  Minimum Job Qualifications  

  • Registered Nurse, BSN preferred. 

  • Certification in Oncology Nursing preferred.   

  • 3 years minimum Experience as an RN in an oncology setting. 

 Additional Requirements:  

  • Great Customer Service Skills.  

  • Previous experience with OncoEMR preferred.  

  • Previous Oncology/Hematology experience preferred.  

  • Ability to travel between office locations as needed.  

 Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000
